Loudon and producer Dick Connette gathered some of the finest musicians of the New York acoustic music scene to record the project including Chris Thile, Rufus & Martha Wainwright, Geoff Muldaur, David Mansfield, Erik Friedlander and others. The resulting recording is an incredible collection of songs and performances. While Loudon might not be the first name you think of when you reflect on Charlie Poole, you will be fascinated by the similarities. This is not to be missed!
Also this Sunday, a lucky listener will win a pair of tickets(with camping!) to the upcoming Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. We will also preview music from some of the this year’s performers.
